Ministry Statement
At PoWASH Music Academy, we strive to bring Fine Arts opportunities to our community.
We offer group classes for 0–5 year-olds to build their love of music and movement from the very start! We offer individual private lessons and have several performance opportunities for our students. PoWASH Music Academy also offers a 6th-12th grade choral ensemble.
Music is a lifelong skill, and we acknowledge the huge importance of music to our cognitive abilities. There is no age limit, and we believe anyone can begin a new instrument or grow in their ability at any point.
PoWASH Music Academy is a ministry of Point Washington UMC and aligns itself with the mission "to know Christ, to love Christ, to make the love of Christ known".
We feel it is our honor to walk alongside students in their musical journey.
For any that may need financial assistance, please reach out. We have a scholarship fund.

Special Classes
This fall, we partnered with Rita Haun, certified MUSIKGARTEN teacher to bring a birth-5 year old class to our studios. This 7 week class focuses on interacting through music and movement with your child.
If you are interested in a winter class starting in January, please reach out. Spots limited to 10 children.
Performance Ensembles
Through partnership with PWUMC Music Ministry, we offer a vocal ensemble called Young Voices United (YVU). This group is for 6-12th grade students to help fill the gap since no chorus is offered through our public schools.
We meet 8-10 weeks in the fall and spring and prepare for special event performances.
Please reach out if you have a student who is interested!
