Private Studios

We currently offer piano, guitar, ukulele, and voice instruction. We have four instructors with private studios in each of these areas. Tuition is charged on a monthly basis at the rate of $110 monthly, charged September-May. Students are welcome to enroll and begin lessons at any time, depending on studio availability. Piano and guitar students are eligible for lessons starting in Kindergarten; young students will be offered a free sample lesson with the instructor to determine readiness for private study. Voice lessons are offered to students in 7th grade and above; prior to this age, students are encouraged to participate in our free choir classes for developmentally appropriate group vocal instruction.

Children's Choir

The purpose of the Children’s Choir at Point Washington is to provide high quality choral music instruction to the congregation at Point Washington UMC and the surrounding community. We believe that this environment will foster character growth, social/emotional skills, musical literacy, and the space for children to feel God’s love within our church community. The choir will explore repertoire both religious and secular, including concert pieces, contemporary Christian, hymns, folk music, and more - all working towards the goals of improving aural and reading skills and fostering appreciation of various cultures, styles, and traditions of song.
