Part-Time Staff Collaborative Pianist — Point Washington UMC
Point Washington United Methodist Church is looking for a part-time Staff Collaborative Pianist to join our music ministry! This person plays a central part in the musical life of our church, helping create a worshipful setting each week and supporting our choirs in rehearsal and performance.
About the Role:
Working under the direction of our Director of Music Ministries, the pianist plays for Sunday worship and accompanies the Sanctuary Choir in regular and special rehearsals and performances. You'll plan, select, and prepare preludes, offertories, and postludes that fit each service. You'll also keep an eye on the piano's care and maintenance needs.
What We're Looking For:

Strong piano and accompaniment skills, with the ability to prepare choral music well

Experience choosing and playing service music for worship

A team player who works well with a music director, choir, and worship staff

Reliable availability on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings

A joyful spirit and a heart for serving God through music!
Schedule & Details:

About 6 hours on site each week, plus time to plan, practice, and prepare

Sundays 7:45–10:00 a.m.; Wednesdays 6:00–8:00 p.m. for Sanctuary Choir, plus 4:45–5:45 p.m. for Young Voices United Youth Choir (seasonally)

Special services, including Easter, Christmas Eve, and occasional Sunday afternoon services

When you're away, you'll help the Director of Music find a Sunday substitute

$225–$325 per week, depending on experience

Part-Time Music Lesson Instructor — PoWASH Music Academy
PoWASH Music Academy, affiliated with Point Washington UMC, is seeking a part-time music instructor to join our team! We're looking for someone passionate about teaching students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
About the Role:
As a music instructor, you'll provide private lessons tailored to each student's goals and pace. We welcome instructors with expertise across instruments and voice.

Part-Time Children's Attendant — Point Washington UMC
Point Washington United Methodist Church is looking for a part-time Children's Attendant to join our Family and Children's Ministry team! If you love kids and want to help families feel welcome and cared for, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role:
Working under the Director of Family and Children's Services, the Children's Attendant helps care for children during our family programs, church events, and special occasions. You'll work on regular church programming days and at special events. Your duties include helping set up for programs, teaching assigned lessons when needed, and making sure every child feels safe, loved, and at home.

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass all background requirements for working with children

Experience with children is a plus

A Christian faith and a heart for nurturing kids with compassion

A friendly, welcoming spirit with families, visitors, staff, and members

Someone dependable who can work on their own and as part of a team

Ability to stay on your feet, keep up with busy (and sometimes noisy!) rooms, and lift up to 25 lbs.
