Please take a look at the groups below and reach out to us if you have any questions!

United Methodist Men
The 1st Saturday of the Month at 8:00am
The United Methodist Men's (UMM) group at Point Washington UMC provides an opportunity for its members to support the community spirit that will always be a hallmark of our historic church.
Through events such as our semi-annual BBQ Pulled Pork sale, the UMM of PWUMC raise funds to support area programs that exemplify the Christian spirit. Donations are sent from the group each year to organizations such as the Society of St. Andrews, Embrace Florida Kids, Red Bird Mission, Path of Grace, Caring and Sharing and Angel Tree Gifts.
So join us the first Saturday of each month at 8am in the Stephen Center for breakfast, a devotion and focus group actions!

Pastor Amy's Christian Believer Study
Thursdays at 1pm
Christian Believer is an in-depth group study which combines study of Scripture and Christian belief. If you have been asking questions like -
-
"What do we believe about the Bible?"
-
"Why do we say Jesus is fully God and fully human? What difference does that make?"
-
"How do we understand the Holy Spirit?"
...then this study is perfect for you! People who take this class walk away with in-depth understanding of the faith we profess in the historic creeds of the Church. More than any other study we have offered, Christian Believer helps us understand what it means to be a people of God together in the Church.
Christian Believer is a 27-session study starting September 8th and meeting until mid-May 2023 with breaks from time to time. Participants are encouraged to be present in person if possible, but an online option to participate through Zoom will be available for remote attenders.
Being part of this study requires a commitment to prepare for classes. We will be reading about 30-45 minutes of Scripture and writings of other significant voices of the Church since Her earliest days. (Side note: If you want to be part of a class that you don't have to prepare for, try Rev. Amy's Relaxed Bible Study on Wednesdays at 6:30pm.)
The materials for this class cost $50 per person. If cost is an obstacle, please reach out to Rev. Amy.
